Our best endeavours

UK Mainland

We aim to deliver all orders received before 2 pm to be processed and despatched for arrival the next working day within UK Mainland Destinations, Orders received after 2 pm you will need to add one extra day.

Same Day Deliveries

If you have a vehicle off the road which needs a part on the same day, we can provide a quote for getting the urgent part to you via currier, all you need to do is request a same day delivery at "Go to Payment" and we will return you a cost and approximate time of delivery.

Non UK Mainland

For orders received for delivery to non UK Mainland Destinations or remote locations within the UK see Deliveries for a guide to the cost. The actual cost will be calculated at check out.

Tracking your delivery

We choose only recognised quality carriers which provide tracking facilities for larger parcels and the postal services for smaller packages and light weight items. We will text you to let you know when your order has been despatched and when you are likely to receive your goods.

Delivery Charges

Final delivery charges are calculated when choosing the option, "Go to Payment" and are dependent on the destination and, or, the number of items ordered see Deliveries.

Special Instructions

Should you require your goods to be left in a specific location within your delivery address or left with a named person, you must say so in the box called "Special Instructions" when choosing the "Final Payment" option. You must also leave a signed note (confirming you're Special Instructions) at the location which the delivery driver can collect. In the case of a named person, you will need to include a special word in the "Special Instructions" box which must be communicated to the named person who will need to confirm the word with the delivery person.

Back Orders

Where the product is marked "Available to Order" you may place an order and at the option "Go to Payment" mark the "Special Instructions" box, Supply when available (SWA) we will then advise you the availability of the goods and when you are likely to receive them. Should your goods not become available within the agreed delivery time, we will refund the cost of the goods immediately, or agree a new delivery time.

Card Payments

For security reasons we are required to make deliveries to the card holder address, however where you are known to us or have a history of regular payments, we may deliver to a recognised business address other than that of the card holder.

Credit Account Facilities

For regular customers which have a minimum of 3 months trading history, we operate a strictly 30 day credit account facility, should you wish to be considered for this option, please e-mail your request through the web site enquiry screen or alternatively call our main line number at which point one of our skilled operators will take your enquiry.

Quality Service

Your goods should be received on time and in good condition, should this not be the case, then you have the option to sign for the goods as "received damaged" or in an extreme case, refuse to accept the delivery, either way we recommend that you take a camera snap shot (a mobile phone image is acceptable) of the goods and call or e-mail us immediately and we will endeavour to resolve the issue without delay, if this is not practicable due to unforeseen circumstances, then we will let you know what solution we will put in place and an approximate time it will take to resolve the issue.

Goods lost in transit

Should you not receive your goods in the specified time, you must contact us as soon as the delivery time has elapsed and report the non arrival of your delivery, we will then subsequently contact the carriers or postal services and endeavour to resolve the situation as quickly as possible uniting you with your goods, however this process can take some time and could involve a potential claim against the carrier or postal service. In the circumstances and while our claim is being processed, you have the option to re-order and make a payment for the replacement goods which we will refund once our claim has been met by the carrier or postal services. We do not make refunds more than once for the same items associated with the same claim.

Deliveries in general

We use Royal Mail's first class post service or air mail service for small packages, and UPS for most of our domestic and the majority of our overseas parcels. Larger domestic orders are sent via Night Freight, and for customers in Europe we may use DPD (as an alternative to UPS) for a cost effective, economy delivery service by road.

Shipping charges for export of oversize parcels outside the UK Mainland may not be accurately displayed by our web site. Please also see below for further details.

United Kingdom

We utilise Royal Mail's first class post service or UPS Standard Service, depending upon size, weight and urgency. Larger domestic orders are sent via Night Freight or Pallet Line.

We aim to despatch all UK orders within 24hrs, subject to stock availability and payment being received. Orders containing items which are advertised as "available to order" take longer, depending on stock availability from our suppliers.

The majority of UK orders are delivered within 1-3 working days. Certain off-shore, remote, Scottish Highland and Northern Ireland destinations may take longer. Bulky and very heavy items may also take longer. If you require your parts urgently, or it is a VOR situation, we provide a same day delivery to a UK Mainland destination subject to availability and a non remote destination. You can also choose to have your order sent to an alternative work address or a recognised business address. A nominated delivery day option is also available. All orders sent by carrier or Royal Mail Special Delivery will require a signature on delivery. We will send you an order tracking number at the point of despatch. Order tracking is not available for Royal Mail first class post deliveries, so please wait a full 3-5 working days for your order to arrive.

Additional Delivery Charges

Supplements apply to out of area rural destinations including Highlands, Scottish Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, and the Channel Islands. Please enquire for shipping to BFPO addresses. Any quoted delivery times are for 'working days' from despatch and exclude weekends and bank holidays. All delivery times are guides. Certain large or bulky items may incur an additional packing charge. EU Countries

We utilise Royal Mail Air Mail or UPS Road, Air Express and Express Saver services, and in addition DPD road service (as an alternative to UPS) for an economy parcel delivery service by road to most European destinations at a low, fixed price box rate (DPD has one fixed price up to 31.5Kg, not exceeding 175cm length and 300cm girth i.e. length cm + 2 x width cm + 2 x height cm). This allows for extra parts to be delivered within the same consignment. Larger European orders are sent by air or road freight by alternate carriers, depending upon destination and speed of service required.

We aim to despatch all export orders within 48 hours of receipt, subject to stock availability and payment for goods and shipping charges being received. Orders containing items which are advertised as "available to order" will take longer depending on stock availability from our suppliers. To keep delivery charges to a minimum, we may hold orders until all stock is available to ship as one consignment.

Delivery times will be dependent on location and delivery method selected. See guide below for estimated times. Bulky and very heavy items may take longer. If you require your parts urgently, an Express option is available. A Next Day service is available for very urgent orders to certain European locations. All orders sent by Carrier will require a signature on delivery. You can choose to have your order sent to an alternative work address or direct to a recognised business location. We will send you an order tracking number at the point of despatch. Order tracking is not available for Air Mail deliveries.

Our web site automatically calculates the shipping charge based only on the weight of the goods.

For orders that include oversize, large and, or, bulky parts, an additional packing and delivery charge may be incurred, we will contact you should extra charges apply and seek your approval before despatching your goods. This is because the charge is calculated on physical weight, rather than volumetric weight which cannot be calculated until the order is packed, measured and weighed.
